Student Council

The AMS Student Government is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a difference in our school community, develop leadership skills, and represent your fellow students.

Our Goals: Our Student Government aims to represent the student body in a variety of ways and be the voice of the students. We will achieve this by allowing students to vote, suggest ideas, voice their opinions, and participate in various activities.

How to Apply: Interested students should fill out an application form and obtain a teacher recommendation. Forms are available from Dr. Belzic in room C21.

Purpose of the Student Council:

  • Voice the concerns and problems of the student body
  • Organize events and activities
  • Represent the students in decision-making
  • Make school a more enjoyable environment

Expectations of a Student Council Representative:

  • Leadership
  • Maintaining good grades
  • Behaving responsibly
  • Being a good person (kind, fair, etc.)
  • Character
  • Commitment
  • Communication

Join us in making our school a better place for everyone! We look forward to your participation and enthusiasm.
