2024 Albritton Red Ribbon Week Fun

The AMS Student Council and Army Substance Abuse Program sponsored Red Ribbon Week at Albritton. The event, which lasted from October 23-31, included a kick-off ceremony with guest speaker Brigadier General Cogbill, organized by Jade Holley, multiple dress-up days for students and staff, and a pep rally.Â
During the week, students showed that drugs are out of character by dressing as their favorite movie characters, they rallied in red for Red Ribbon Week, they gave drugs the boot by dressing in western wear, they said "Peace out! to drugs by dressing from their favorite decade, they stayed drug-free rock stars by dressing as musicians, and they proved that they won't "fall" to drugs by wearing their favorite fall gear.Â
Red Ribbon Week is a decades-long tradition for schools to promote a drug-free life.
