Albritton Teachers Showered with Appreciation

The Albritton Middle School PTSA showered Albritton educators with treats for Teacher Appreciation Week from May 5th to May 9th. 

For, "You Make Mondays Matter," students passed out tokens of appreciation from the PTSA throughout the day. Teachers received giant customized cards signed by students and were able to choose from a collection of small items such as a bookmark, pen, or key chain. 

For, "Teamwork Tuesday: Let’s Quack On," the PTSA wanted to remind teachers: "With every step (or flap), you inspire more than you know." They shared sweet treats and fun rubbers ducks with each staff member. 

For, "We’ve Got You Covered Wednesday: Chapstick, Trail Mix & H2Ohh Yeah," teachers were invited to visit a self-care snack station in the PTSA room featuring water, flavored drink mixes, granola bars, trail mix, and lip balm.

For, "Thankful Thursday: You Keep Us Running," educators were invited to "perk up with coffee, power up with donuts, and know you're appreciated!" The PTSA served donuts and coffee in the PTSA room to the staff before students entered the building. 

For, "Fill Your Belly Friday," the PTSA fed Albritton's staff a delicious lunch of  sandwiches, pinwheels, and chips as one more way to say "thank you" for all they do. 

In addition to the daily treats provided by the PTSA, students and parents provided gifts and messages to individual teachers and staff members throughout the week. Likewise, the members of the Nellie McCoy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, which has been selling concessions at spring sporting events, took their concessions cart and cooler around the school, encouraging educators to select a drink and a snack in appreciation for all they do. The Albritton Student Council provided a similar "Out of the Blue" treat to teachers to show their appreciation a few weeks ago. 

The Albritton Middle School PTSA shared this message with Albritton educators, "We are so grateful for the dedication, passion, and heart our staff brings to Albritton each and every day!"
