Celebrating Thelberstine Barbee: A Pillar of Support at Albritton Middle School

DoDEA celebrates National Assistant Principals' Week from April 7th to 11th, 2025, recognizing the hard work and dedication of assistant principals within the Department of Defense Education Activity. Albritton Middle School would like to recognize Ms. Thelberstine Barbee for the hard work and heart that she puts into her interactions with students and staff every day. 

Ms. Barbee is known for her approachable and supportive nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her leadership has been instrumental in fostering a positive and welcoming school environment, where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.

Throughout her tenure, Ms. Barbee has been a driving force behind numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing student achievement and well-being. Her efforts in promoting academic excellence, supporting extracurricular activities, and addressing the individual needs of students and staff have been truly commendable. Her philosophy can be summed up by a sign over her desk, which reads, “Relationships first. Tasks second.”

As we celebrate National Assistant Principals Week, Albritton Middle School extends heartfelt gratitude to Thelberstine Barbee for her unwavering dedication and exceptional service. Her hard work and passion for education continue to inspire and uplift the entire school community.
