Let's Celebrate Nurse Lopez!

Wednesday, May 7th, was School Nurses' Appreciation Day. Few school nurses can be as beloved as Donna Lopez, nurse at Albritton Middle School. Nurse Lopez is always ready to provide medical assistance, health advice, and a listening ear to students and staff in need. Besides providing first aid, administering medications, and calling parents for sick students, her duties include preventative care screening, monitoring chronic health conditions, and responding to emergencies with alacrity. Nurse Lopez doles out medications, ice packs, and kindness in equal measure. We appreciate Nurse Lopez every day!
