Hello, Bulldogs,

Creating health resolutions is a great way to begin 2025. Take a look at these suggestions and see which ones are right for you! 😊

1. Eat More Fruits and Vegetables

  • Set a goal to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. You can experiment with different colors and types to keep it exciting.

2. Drink More Water

  • Aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Carrying a reusable water bottle to school can help remind you to stay hydrated.

3. Get Active Every Day

  • Aim for 60 minutes of physical activity daily. Whether it’s walking, dancing, playing a sport, or doing yoga, staying active is key to overall health.

4. Sleep Better

  • Commit to getting 8-9 hours of sleep each night. Set a bedtime routine to help you relax and get enough rest for school and activities.

5. Take Breaks and Relax

  • Stress management is important for mental health. Try meditation, deep breathing, or just taking short breaks during homework to help clear your mind.

6. Limit Screen Time

  • Try reducing time spent on screens for social media, gaming, or TV. Set limits and focus on spending time doing other activities like reading or playing outside.

7. Practice Gratitude

  • Every day, write down or think about three things you’re grateful for. This can improve your mood and mental well-being.

8. Improve Personal Hygiene

  • Set a goal to keep up with daily hygiene practices like washing your hands, brushing your teeth, and keeping your space tidy.

9. Set Goals for Learning and Self-Growth

  • Work on setting small academic and personal growth goals. This helps develop discipline and boosts your confidence.

10. Be Kind and Supportive

  • Be kind to yourself and others. Practice positive self-talk and offer help to friends or classmates who might be struggling.

Making resolutions fun and achievable can lead to healthier habits, increased confidence, and better overall well-being throughout the year.

Yours in good health,

Nurse Lopez
