New Library Resource Management System Ready for Launch!

New Library Resource Management System soon to be available at AMS Library!

AMS Library is pleased to announce the transition to the new MackinVision library management system and online catalogue, ready for launch in January 2025.

• Easy Access: Students can check out eBooks with just one click.
• Personalized Recommendations: MackinVision suggests books based on what students have read before and students can choose to get notified when we get new books, they might be interested in.
• Cool Features: Find book locations on a library map, earn badges for reading, and get quick citation lists for research projects.
• Integrated Search: See search results from our databases right alongside the library catalog.

• Simple Sign-In: Students can access MackinVision and MackinVIA through ClassLink without needing to log in again.

   

Last Day to Check Out Physical Books: December 12th

All library information will be transferred to the new system at the end of the day on December 12^th. To ensure thousands of records are uploaded correctly, no library information (like whether a book is checked out) may be changed after December 12th, as it cannot be reflected in our new system. 

Students will still have access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, and databases through MackinVIA during this time. Physical books may be checked out by December 12th for winter break reading.
